The Newton County School System (NCSS) self-paced Virtual Instruction Program (VIP) will begin accepting applications for the 2024-2025 school year. The application period will remain open through Friday, March 29, 2024.
VIP offers online instruction for NCSS students enrolled in grades three through twelve.

Anyone interested in attending NCSS VIP for the 2024-2025 school year must complete this form by 5:00 P.M. on March 29, 2024.
Interested students must be in good academic standing, having no more than one failing course by the end of the school year.
“The Virtual Instruction Program is an opportunity for students who are motivated to learn independently or require a more individualized learning pace,” said Tony Trimaldi, Coordinator of the NCSS Virtual Instruction Program. “However, students and their families must examine whether it is the right fit for themselves as well.”
Be advised that once you have answered the questions at the link and submitted your responses, there is no reason to call or email the VIP office to verify receipt.
“Applications will be reviewed throughout the application window and the weeks following,” Trimaldi explained. “Parents or guardians will receive notification via email if their student is accepted or not.”
