The Newton County School System is headed by school superintendent, Dr. Duke Bradley, III. The school superintendent functions as the Chief Executive Officer of the school system and reports directly to the Newton County Board of Education. Dr. Bradley has an executive cabinet to support him. Members include the Chief Operations Officer, Chief Academic Officer, Chief Officer of Strategy and Community Outreach, Chief of Human Resources, Chief Finance Officer, Chief of Learning and Leadership, and Director of Public Relations.
